Title: Scouting in Peaches tonight.
Post by: norsepeak on June 14, 2009, 09:43:44 PM: Found 8 bulls, the pic is the nicest one so far, 28 goats including one billy I think will be near the state record, and two four bucks with some potential.

looks like he will be a nice buck, have you noticed a decline in deer in that area due to the lous problem? Another question are they considered blacktails or mule deer in there? If I where to wack a deer while bowhunting in the Peaches unit what would it most likely be?

Post by: norsepeak on June 14, 2009, 10:05:08 PM: Actually the deer seem to be making a comeback. There aren't the numbers of 15 years ago, but they do seem to be increasing a little. The deer around here are benchleg deer, but technically would be classified as Mule deer even though they are all crossbreeds.
