Has anyone been out on Banks Lake recently walleye fishing? I am headed out that way on Wednesday afternoon to fish Thurs/Fri. My father fished Rufus Woods today and again tomorrow with Austin Moeser and did fair, caught both walleye and trout but nothing of any real size. We will stick to Banks though. Water temp, are the fish still deep? Any info is appreciated, PM's welcome. Thanks!

Thanks for the report Link! Fortunately we experienced a better outcome. Fishing was decent, not hot but consistent. We only fished 5-6 hours each day but kept 12 walleye and 5 perch. Lots of bites and bait stealers. Bottom walkers w/slow death and double whammy's in 45-50' around steamboat did it for us. Water temp is on the rise, was 50 when we started Thursday and was 58 when we took out mid day Friday. Lots of boats and seemed like others were scratching them out like us. Most fish were 16-20" with one 25" kicker. A couple were spilling milt on the way up but no eggs in any of them.
