All ready to go until I looked at the forecast and now we'll see. Stay safe if you are out there!
-
I did the same thing, tides are great, weather looking awful right now....WDFW must of had long range forecasts to plan the opening :chuckle:
-
We'll be on the canal Fri/ Sat
Thur looks like a busy day for the Coast guard....
People loose common sense with these limited opening seasons..
-
Yeah, I realized I would pull the plug if it was coho in September, so I'm wondering why I am considering going now. We can't make the second opener and even 7S looks to be pretty short so there aren't many opportunities.
-
Did everyone get their shrimp?
-
We got our limit of 5 by 10:30. Averaged 70 per pull.
-
Easy limits both days ..
Although I realized why I don't love going anymore... people are ...
Well.... simply dumb.
-
Easy limit on Friday afternoon, weather wasn't great in Area 7....
-
Are these spots or coonies?

Spots
-
Easy limits day one, turned around and came back day two after going for an hour and not even making half way out for a normal 20 minute run.
-
5 limits Fri, 5 limits Sat on the canal across from Bangor. Sat was sporty in a 12' alum boat.
-
5 limits on Friday, using 3 pots. Great weather. Seems like most people did well.
-
Limits both days in the canal. First time venturing out there but good grade of shrimp with 1000 other boats.
