Title: Billy Clapp Lake
Post by: shootem on June 19, 2024, 06:14:24 PM
I’ll be driving by Billy Clapp tomorrow towing my boat. Is it worth stopping in and taking a look? Any hazards to be aware of?

I've caught small walleye at the upper end where the canal flows in. This was several years back and at the time the lake was still 16" minimum to keep walleye, all were sub legal. Not sure if the size restriction has changed there. I have heard it is a good kokanee lake but have not targeted them. There could be some good carp shooting if you are in to bow fishing, there were lots up along the shoreline at the upper end. I did not experience any significant hazards while running the lake.
