A friend of my dad got drawn for Bull Spokane West. Problem is he wasn’t suppose to put in that area, as we have never hunted there before. Anyway, looking for places to scout as a lot of the ground is private. Thanks for the help.

Dont know the area well but did spend some time there in my work a few years ago. From the larger farmers they were not fans of moose. Especially the grass seed growers as moose cause a lot of damage in these fields. Not just eating it but tracking through it in the fall after seeding. Get OnX and knock on some doors starting now. Strike up a conversation even if they say no in that they can point you to where to go ask next. If they dont offer that ask. Once you hit the right farmer they will probably even let you put your trailer somewhere on the property and let you use the tractor to get the moose out.
Also get a hold of the biologist up there and ask for land owners that have had issues with moose. That may well be a shortcut to a contact.
One last thing is search facebook groups in spokane. Might just run across something there.

Get up into Forty Mile Canyon

Spokane West ,isn't that the five sister mountain range.

Yup, lots of country to hunt. A small canyon I use to deer hunt and I’d see bull moose alll the time

First place I ever deer hunted.
A lot more clearcuts now than 30 years ago.

And never draw again. I'd rather have some horns on the wall and meat in the freezer myself.

I haven't hunted it in a few years, thought most of that was walk in.
Pretty good chunk of timber land, but walk in.
Being a little more south on a northeast scale,I would say water sources might be a good place to look.
