Post by: bobcat on June 22, 2009, 06:30:01 AM: Well, there were 2,412 applications for Margaret and only 463 for Nooksack, so it makes sense that the Margaret permits would have been gone before Nooksack. Even though there was only 2 for Nooksack and 7 for Margaret. I imagaine more people apply for Margaret just because it's more well known and they're more familiar with it.

I challenge anyone with a Margaret tag to produce a 300 incher this year. Not saying it is impossible, but lets face it, it is not the Margaret of the early 90's. The only thing you will get out of a Margaret tag that you may not get out of most is the chance to see 100 elk a day.

Nooksack Attack Sept. 1st.

My brother Finnman talked to the Game Warden and got some good info from him already. Sounds like it should be an amazing hunt. Really looking forward to it. :drool: :drool: :drool:
