Some pictures from this morning.
This first group was on their way to a stock tank for a drink.
-
This next group may wander to some land Houndhunter has permission to hunt when he comes over to this side of the mountains.
-
Third group had a weird looking non-typical and one that should be pretty decent later this year.
-
Here is a real monster. So big he was hanging out with a lady.
-
Another monster on the rocks.
-
The buck in front in the last bachelor group picture sure is a bruiser!
-
If this deer had a set of horns I would send some form of these next photos to a magazine. Once I figure out how I want to crop it and do the PP, it will be my first wildlife photo to go on my wall. I need some suggestions on which photo you guys would choose, how you would crop, and how you would process.
These first two are straight out of the camera with no processing or cropping.
-
These next three have been cropped.
Hope you guys enjoy the photos.
-
I like the top one of her looking at you........good pic!

ahhh crap I think I like the cropped one of her looking at you better though.........that nontypical should be cool.....you should try and get some pics of him at full growth :)
-
Awesome pictures. I love the tall narrow guy in that third bachelor group. That is my favorite kind of buck.

LOL! thats funny i was just thinkin man that looks just like the area i go to. well thats good, i got some one doing some scoutin for me :chuckle:. not sure if i'll be there before sept to get a looksy, went there before in mid july i think and they were all gone :dunno:. do they move out when it really gets hot and the feed aint in?
-
That spot usually holds the deer year round. When it gets real hot you have to get into the draws and kick them out of beds, since they are pretty much 95% nocturnal by then.
-
Here are some different and closer views of the non-typ since you guys are liking him.
