I missed a buck this morning. I shot at him twice and disappeared into the thicket. Should I go hunt a different cut or go back to the same one? I’m worried he won’t show up again and I only have two more days to hunt this coming weekend. Also he was with one doe.

I would stick around, atleast you know hes in the area, i missed buck few years back and couple days later i shot him on a same field, but your call

He’s gone

are you sure you completely missed? You can miss the ideal shot location by more than a foot and still hit the animal...

Yeah I think so. I jumped him and he started to run I took two standing shots while he was moving. Dumb mistake on my part. No blood no hair or anything

Cut off your shirt tail :chuckle:
