Title: I'm fishing again
Post by: WonkyWapiti on June 19, 2009, 09:24:51 PM
Well I haven't been fishing since I was a kid.  Today at the spur of the moment, I decided to take off from work early and I went fishing at Lake Wilderness.  I already had a rod and reel that I picked up a couple of years ago with the intent of starting fishing again, my how time flies.  Well I didn't catch anything but I had fun.  Now I've got to figure out what the hell I am doing again and try and catch something, lol.

boat or banking it?
if banking it, go to the cut down tree on the point near the launch.

Use 3/4 OZ slip weight above swivel, then 6 foot minimum leader, small egg hook, two yellow power eggs. cast as far as you can using 6lb mainline, 4 lb leader straight out from the stumps on shore.
Enjoy your meal.

if trolling, use a #5 glow in the dark or #5 frog pattern flat fish.

If the power eggs bottle doesnt say power eggs, DONT use it they dont work.
