Title: hitch adapter 2in to 2.5 inch
Post by: Rob on October 25, 2024, 12:09:21 PM: I have a stinger I would like to have the option to use from time to time as it has a tongue weight scale on it. Honestly I doubt I would tow with it at all - just a quick and dirty assessment of tongue weight from time to time.

The issue is, it came from a truck I no longer have and it is a 2.5 inch stinger. My current truck only has a 2 inch receiver.

I figure someone must make an adapter that goes from 2 inches on the receiver (truck side) to 2.5 inches on the hitch (stinger) side. Spent some time looking and I cannot find one. Anyone know a good source? I assume it would be some kind of hitch extension kind of deal given the geometry.

Post by: Rob on October 25, 2024, 12:29:48 PM: If I am reading your post correctly (perhaps not), you have a 2.5 on the truck receiver and the adapter allows you to use 2 inch stingers. I want to go the other way - 2 on the truck side, 2.5 on the hitch/stinger.
