I just bought one at Costco on sale. I've roasted one chicken and wasn't pleased with the results. The drums were overcooked while the thighs and breasts were still under cooked. Whatcha got?
-
Far better if you cut into pieces. Gotta turn a whole one over a couple times and cook at about 360. They're great for frys, pork chops, fish and chicken pieces. Try using the air fryer coating you'll find near the regular panko in the stores. Keep experimenting, I use ours constantly. Lots of recipes on line.

Thanks Baldo. I will try some of the coating. I suppose I could cook the smaller cuts on one side, larger in the other. Good suggestion!

I use mine almost every day. I got a load of wings brining right now for the WSU game.
Here's my thigh recipe:
Chicken thighs:
Season:
salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, sage
400F
skin side down for 10 minutes
flip - 10 more minutes.
So easy, so good.

We have one and really use it a lot. I think my favorite thing out of it is salmon bites with hot honey. I'll see if I can come up with a recipe. They're awesome. Almost like candied salmon with that honey on top.

When I could get it @Skillets black cod. Dredge in panko about 30 minutes done.

We love ours.
One of our favorites is fresh salmon fillet with garlic olive oil or garlic butter and seasoned with blackened seasoning. 10 minutes at 350*.
-
We use ours constantly. Most used appliance in the kitchen. Ours is the Ninja version that also pressure cooks and slow cooks.
-
Fries;
Cut the potatoes, coat with a bit of oil, salt. Most Air Fryers have a French Fry button, push that. Shake halfway through.
-
Have one. Not impressed thus far. Fully acknowledge it could be operator error.

Was given one for x-mas 5 years ago, still sitting in box unnused

I love ours, I cook my brats in it. About 8-9 mins at 360* great for chicken wings, warming up pizza. The list goes on.
-
Try carrot sticks in it if you like sweet potato fries, it’s bizarre but amazing.

I got one free as a company gift. Used once I think so know it works just takes up too much room on counter so lives in box in garage.
Tried to sell at garage sale no takes at $50 so still in garage. Need to build a shop where i can leave it setup and use it to warm snacks :dunno: :chuckle:

Loved ours until it quit working, can cook all sorts of things in em, even a beef steak was awesome in it. Will be getting another one.

Red yam fries, rack of pork, meatloaf, chicken thighs - all very good. We ate the rack for three days and heating up in the air fryer doesn't suck out the juices like the microwave. Very easy to clean.
-
We use ours for side dishes a lot.
Fry's,jo-jo,things like that. Anything that we need to cook to go with a main dish.
-
When we replaced the range, got one with air fryer feature. Use it pretty regularly. Home fries, chicken strips, popcorn shrimp, etc.
-
Haven’t done much main dish work with it but we tried one a couple years ago and now we use that thing ALL THE TIME!
Sides, smalls from the freezer, and it’s great for reheating!
