Anyone have one or use one? I don't know why but I keep wanting to buy one. Seems like they would really work for small game within the outlying city areas. I have a high power Beeman 22 airgun, which I think would work, but for some reason I have magnumitus, feeling a 25 would be better! Can't help myself, it's a disease!

Old ? without an answer. I have a 25. The .25 hits a lot harder than a .22. Airgun power is kind of like shotgun pellets. They're all moving about the same speed so it's the weight of the pellet that makes a difference. Once you step up to a 25 caliber you can fliing 35 grain pellets up to 1,000 fps. It's almost like shooting standard velocity 22 long rifles.
Twenty-two caliber pellets weigh about half what 25's and twice what a .177 pellet weighs.

my buddy has a custom 26 cal pellet gun, its pretty wicked. fastest shooting pellet gun on the market. has a silencer on it. without the silencer it sounds like a 22 going off. with the silencer it sounds like a red rider spring gun.
