I am looking for any advice on which or any land owners/ areas to focus on. I have hunted the west end of this GMU 178 for deer for years, but am not real familiar with the eastern part. I have taken a few deer with the muzzleloader across hwy 12 in mayview as well, but have never focused on the elk. We have drooled at them through the spotting scope on private (tresspassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again) land. I know their are a few people who have drawn this tag or might know some one with helpful advice. I do have some places to go already and have family that live in the unit, but I don't want to leave any stone unturned because I don't want to screw this dream tag up.
