Anyone out there have a 6.5 Rem Mag? I have a Remington 600 that have been playing with any help would be great. I would love to load 140 grain bullets but, think the action is to short. Any experience with one? Thanks.

Don't have one, would love that exact gun. Let me know if you want to sell it. I have a few 600's.
You're right, it's a short action for those longer weights, but I think you'll be able to fit it in fine. You might have trouble getting an accurate seating dept though. Just play with it a little and find one of the sweet spot lengths.

That magazine is too short, you would have to deep seat bullet,i have had 3 in that calibur one a ruger had the front of the magazine cut out so bullets could be seated out, also rem 700a little longer,i have had several in 350mag they all shot good, only one left.

I like the gun and am pretty surprised by the getting 2900 with 125 grain Noslers out of that short barrel. I'm trying one more load and see if I can get a little more but, I think it will do everything I need it to at 2900. I'm planning on using this gun for hunting everything this year. I know some will say that the 125 grain is light for elk but, I think it will do it no problem. I'll let you know if I decide to sell it but, as for right now don't hold your breath. What caliber are your 600's in?

I would not be concerned using that 125gr Nolsler as long as it is a Partition. You could also try a Barnes Triple Shock in the same weight class.
