I have been seeing a ton of does with twins lately. At my Folks place in Shelton, one doe is towing around triplets. We watched her for the past couple of months and she was so huge that we thought she wouldn't make it. I have only seen triplets one other time and it was a whitetail doe on my land in Republic. Here we have 3 does with twins on our place over here. It seems that wherever I turn there is another set. My pet elk have faired well on the calves as well. Is anyone else seeing a disproportionate number of multiples this season?

I have seen a few sets of twins already. :dunno:

Polarbear are you seeing alot of whitetail does with twins this year too? I have only seen a couple differnt sets of twins on was a muley doe and the other whitey doe with twins.

I haven't been over to Republic in a couple of months so I don't know yet how the whities are doing. I'll have to call my buddy and get a report on the herd.
The reason that I brought it up is around where I live, we hardly ever see twins but this year we are over run with them.

Oh, let us know how they are doing up there?

We were on our way home from shooting today and there was a doe with twins in the middle of the road. We stopped so they could get out of the road, and one fawn went one way, and the other fawn tried to go the same way as the doe, but got kicked to the ground by the doe as she was trying to run. The fawn got up and ran off with the doe just fine though. The doe stopped just once in the brush, and the fawn that went its own way did the same, so we drove off figuring the doe would go get her other fawn once we left.
