Considering buying one of the models around $1,200. What are you reviews ? Prob gonna get the cold smoke accessory as well. Can you get smoke flavor from these ? I'm not talking about a 1/2" smoke ring on meat just want some good smoke flavor- I have a pit boss and I hate it. Also looking at the Camp Chef woodwind pro but don't want to spend the extra $ if I don't have to. I have plenty of actual smokers if I want to go that way but looking for something in a pellet grill if it works o.k.

I have had my RecTec for about 8 years. Love it and have never had 1 issue. Stays 1 degree #/-
My brother in-law was a Treager guy forever and after using mine he bought one and is happy as can be, not one issue
I can get a solid smoke ring no problem

I have had mine for a few years now and love it! As noted above, it holds temps great, even when it’s cold outside. As far as smoke flavor, I use Costco pellets. Can’t go wrong with $12 bag. A couple of my buddies have them too, turned into a bit of a “pitmaster” competition. And I will say, their customer service is amazing!

I had one of the larger ones for 6-years and it was good. No real issues, other than minor.
I bought my Yoder 640 4-years ago and will not use anything else. They are incredible. Nothing wrong with Rec, but Yoder is the king!!

I've had one for the last few years and if it ever broke down and couldn't be repaired i would buy another one just like it.

I've had "The Bull" for 5 years now. Had a Traeger for 10 years before it. The Rec Tec is awesome, gets hot enough to sear a steak with the sear plates. I'd buy another one.
