Snohomish River recreational fishing closure
Action: Closes all recreational fishing.

Effective date: Sept. 20-Oct. 31, 2025.

Species affected: All species.

Location: Snohomish River from the mouth at the Burlington-Northern Railroad bridges (including all channels, sloughs, and interconnected waterways, excluding all tributaries) to the confluence of the Skykomish and Snoqualmie rivers.

Reason for action: Allowed recreational fishing impacts to Chinook salmon present in Snohomish River are expected to be reached by the end of the day Friday, Sept. 19.

Post by: jason stevens on September 17, 2025, 05:59:55 PM: They didn't open the sky at all for pinks an silvers. This is why I stopped buying a oicense an just grab all my fish from the reservation. Saved alot of money an I got about 80 fish. Only 20 were pinks.it sucks but I don't have kids that fish anymore so I just stock the freezer.
