i saw a kid using one of these on a stocked pond at a trout hatcher. his dad had fitted it with a bobber and leader........ruining the experience  :'(

My grandson got one for xmas last year.  The thing is cool!  He loves it, is having fun and that's what really counts.  He fishes with a regular rig too so he knows what both are like.  He's only 5 and does the commercial of this rod just like he was selling it on tv.  Friggin hillarious :chuckle:
