Title: Swakane Area Archery
Post by: mikelonsford on November 27, 2007, 04:17:00 PM
If anyone wouldn't mind PM'ing me I have a few fairly general questions regarding a few areas in the Swakane.  I have never hunted there, I have only archery hunted the last couple years.  Not looking for a monster, but a nice solid 3 or 4 would be nice, that being said I'd take a doe as it would be my first bow success on something besides grouse.

Also I believe this is my first post on this site so HI!!!  I came over from the other site a few months ago after Jackelope related the info.  Haven't looked back...much.  Have already learned a lot fomr this site and the WA info found here....Thanks to all those who keep it going.......I LOVE all the pics and adventures Boneaddict.  Congrats to all who have had a successful hunt already this year.

I was new to the Swakane up until September.  Since then I have scouted and tromped over lots of turf up there.  So far in the late season I have only seen does in 4+ days of hunting.  I was over on the Entiat river side, so I am thinking of moving to the Cashmere/Leavenworth side.

Sorry I cannot help you, but from what I have seen so far, a doe would be a great kill in the Swakane this year.
