My old neighbor called me and said he has a picture in his email about a monster shot up north somewhere and is suppose to be a state record, like 40 wide he said. im going to his office to see the pic tomorrow and will email to myself. Its probly from another state and being passed around, one of those deals. Just seeing if anybody else has heard of it.
-
nothing this year at all for super monsters....curious to hear the outcome.
-
I havent heard of one either. It is probably like a guy on the other site with a "193" WA archery whitie" that was actually shot back east on private land. Let's hope not!
-
:dunno:
polarbear...you liked that 193 whitey, didn't you...i could tell. ;)
-
My neighbor actually called to see if it was me who shot it cause he said it looked just like me and a guy he works with said it was me to, i said i wish it was me. :chuckle:
-
A friend of mine sent me some pics of a so called 400 pound whitie, I think it is just a good photoshop job but who knows.
-
I seen the pic, i think i saw it on monster muleys before, its no washington deer.
-
kirkl...this dude looks kind of like you...and with all that trash, he might be 40 too.
-
Wow , thats a nice blacktail! :chuckle: ;)
-
Jackelope, yep thats the pic he showed me. I cant remeber where it was shot, colorado or somewhere like that i think.
-
I read somewhere it might have been Utah. Southern part.
-
I heard it was Idaho JB
-
LOL!! That's funny....I heard Montana! Fuggin' internet rumors....can't beat em'.
-
Super nice buck, but also a great longarm job. Look at the size of the guy's hands relative to his head. Must have been watching too much Roland Martin.
-
I have heard its a for real deal and it was southern Idaho. That part of Idaho does put out some stud mulies now and again.

Wow, this site is beginning to look like that "other one". All we need now is people fighting with each other over nothing.

I was working in lacey, Wa few days ago, and were talking with few crews down there about hunting stories at lunch break, and mike the supervior of RPD company told a guy to come down to show him your cousin got blacktail buck recently rifle season 38" wide up Mt vernon, Wa area.. At first I laugh at him and think NO WAY IN WORLD would be that big and he walked to his truck and show me his picture of his cousin. First I was thinking no way then start to look at his picture and I start to open my wide eye like NO *censored*! its wayy big for blacktail. I asked him to forward to my cell and it never work. So I have to call mike to beg him to ask his crew to forward this picture to my email and public it. I believe it will be in recordbook with in few months NO WORRY!
NO KIDDING I wish you guys see it.
ANYONE you know any guys work for RPD Red trucks and excavate construction company heard about this story? short guy that is the guy! I forget his name, :hello: share with us!!!!

We were hunting up in Bonners Ferry last week and my buddy up there got a text message from his buddy who was supposedly with the guy. Rumor has it that the deer was taken in Bonneville County by a guy from Cour d' Alene (don't know how to spell that danged city) It is definately a pig and one I have not seen anywhere on the net like most of the big bucks and bulls that are somehow shot in 10 different states. I am not too high tech and don't know if there is a way to get the pic from my cell phone to a computer. If anyone knows if that is possible, I can text the pic over and we can all have a looksie!!!
-
I believe I had the wrong county. I think it is Boundary County way up North; not Bonneville which I think is down South. Nonetheless, it was in the Bonners Ferry Region. I was told it was 38" wide and the picture confirms it is probably real close to that
-
this deer had it's picture taken at least a month ago...somewhere....it was not killed last week or 2 weeks ago.
click this link and look at the date. the top pic was posted on 11/2
http://www.monstermuleys.info/dcforum/DCForumID6/15540.html
the deer was killed in montpeller, SE idaho.
p.s. there are at least 2, maybe 3 threads on monstermuleys with this deer's head pictured in it.

Why do I get the feeling this one isn't going away anytime soon. I'm really surprised this guy hasn't come on to one of these sites and salitified this buck....with a story.
-

Travis Crane, ID 2007 A Real Wallhanger
December 13, 2007
Travis Crane took this huge mule deer in Bear Lake County, Idaho this fall. No word on score yet, but this deer is a real monster, nonetheless.
Here's the link with the pic.
