Going down to Bonneville for my last shot at oversize this weekend. gonna mix things up abit and try steelhead off anchor too.
with regards to spinners, what is best: a single hook or a treble, or maybe, am i required to use a single. thx!

I seem to catch them every year or jacks off chartreus shad jigs. A small spin-n-glow with a double hook w/ roe may work for you or sandshrimp. I know they use prawn spinner in drano. It may work below the dam as well. You may hook up with a king, if it's still open.

It's won't be ope nfor kings. Beware if useing bait the big gators might grab it and do a bad number on that steelhead rod.
Run small spinners or a small plug. Even a small spin-glo.
Good luck.

I wouldnt watse your time with the oversize, but thats me, as far as steelhead, small orange spinners with doulble hooks with prawns are as good as it gets, 2 -3 ft dropper..... 5 ft leader in 8-15 ft of water, or you can also use a small size 2 spin/glo and prawn, that is what everyone uses off the bank and we rail them that way as well..... the bait is key and makes all the difference on the summer fish....... I cure my own prawns and the combo seems to work great, every summer we have at least one day with 20+ fish........ last year we had 3 and many 15+ days. it can be awesome
