Cool pics like the purple haze to them..... How was the trip? Hey by the way, I have been educated as to the dog fish now....

8) Yeah those are neat.

Great shots, you caught some nice ones. How did you post process these? What were you shooting through? I was wondering if it was through the windshield with the dark top and bottom borders. :dunno:

The trip went well, I caught some walleyes and crappies and bluegills and smallmouth bass and a 33" musky on 6lb test line and a minnow, I'll try to get some photos up a little later !!

I was actually outside my truck at a rest area and the borders are natural because of the lighting. I used lightroom to process them and shot at 100 iso manual bulb mode 30 second exposure with remote on a tripod !! I have several more but you get the idea !!!
Thanks for the compliments !! ;)

Now I see. What I thought was an upper border is the bottom of the pic above. It must have been pitch black out there for those exposures. Awesome.

PS. I'm with Coho. Catching dogfish is way better than catching no fish.

Very cool pics. I always have loved pics of Lightning. Really displays the raw power of the storm.

Great photos robo. You got the "long exposure noise reduction" feature on for those? I think it's a custom function...

I don't think I had that function on cause there was plenty of noise in them but lightroom took care of alot of it, I'll have to look into the features of my camera to see if that is available, it sure would be less work in post processing !!!

All I can say is Wow. Those are some very cool photos you took. I love lightning, it was always cool to see the big storms down in AZ when I lived there.
