Title: Blacktail cape fix and finished mount . (Charlies Taxidermy)
Post by: bucklucky on July 20, 2009, 03:21:19 PM
Here is a blacktail that was cut way wrong, and instead of buying a new cape the customer decided to pay for the fix instead and use the origional. It was a wash either way, I charge  $5.00 an inch for repair work and this had 27 inches so $135.00 and a cape is usually around that price. All in all the fix turned out pretty good. There was a couple spots that the hair was shaved pretty badly, so I trimmed it as far as I could but still showed in a couple spots.
