Title: Time of day
Post by: brent123 on July 24, 2009, 07:35:58 AM: Doe's anydody see bears early in the morning? It seems to me that I usaslly dont start seeing them tell at least noon or later. Do think its a waste of time to go out before sunrise if i'm just hunting bear?

I've seen bear at just about any time of the day, but evenings seem to be best, especially on hot summer days, like we're having now.

Don't worry...sleep in. Bears have an internal clock that wakes them up at 10 am.

Post by: Slider on July 28, 2009, 07:33:56 PM: Last week I saw a Big Cinnamon at High Noon (100 degrees). I have had 2 cameras set up for the last month trying to get pics of him with no luck. Last week while driving up to get my cards out of the corner of my eye I catch a blur going over a hill across the canyon? WTF!!! I haul a$$ up around the next curve and see a Huge Bear running wide open!!! I grab my camera and he runs into a draw with Timber in it. Dam no picture!!! He was about 1/2 mile below my cameras and right by the road!!! :bash: :bash: :bash:

Although, some guys I know said they get them all between 4PM and dark.
