Title: East side, uppper Columbia/Okanogan suggestions needed.
Post by: JackOfAllTrades on July 28, 2009, 11:24:44 AM: I'm not looking for your honey hole.. Just some good spin cast fishin. Maybe a place where I can practice some fly fishin.

I'd like to get my 'soon to be 15yr old' to a river bank where there's good chance of catching some Salmon. -Any kind. We'll be in Chelan for the week, but a run up to Paterose or Bridgeport is not out of the question.

Don't have a boat to take. I get to that area about twice a year and I've never really looked for non-boat fishing opportunities.

OH, And I think I'll have to stay away from Alta lake. Wouldn't want to have to shoot some damn thief.

Post by: Alchase on July 28, 2009, 12:25:53 PM: Bridgeport State Park has some good bank fishing for triploid trout. So does Blue lake and Banks lake by Coulee City.
