Title: East side, uppper Columbia/Okanogan suggestions needed.
Post by: JackOfAllTrades on July 28, 2009, 11:24:44 AM
I'm not looking for your honey hole.. Just some good spin cast fishin. Maybe a place where I can practice some fly fishin.

I'd like to get my 'soon to be 15yr old' to a river bank where there's good chance of catching some Salmon. -Any kind.  We'll be in Chelan for the week, but a run up to Paterose or Bridgeport is not out of the question.

Don't have a boat to take.  I get to that area about twice a year and I've never really looked for non-boat fishing opportunities.

OH, And I think I'll have to stay away from Alta lake. Wouldn't want to have to shoot some damn thief.

Bridgeport State Park has some good bank fishing for triploid trout. So does Blue lake and Banks lake by Coulee City.

Thanx.  I'm pretty sure there's no reason to hit the Methow.  Any fish in the Okanogon yet?
