Title: homebrew w80 issue? problem?

does anyone have a problem with the camera sensing motion and powering on but not taking a picture? the last time i checked the cam it had a dead battery but only 35 pics taken. before i took it out i was messin with it and noticed it would do this at times but ignorred it. has anyone had this problem? why does it do it?  thanks

I have not seen this problem.  Is the flash set in forced on mode so it is too slow taking the first photo? If you have the camera out maybe I could take a look and see whats up. I have my W80 out taking pics right now though.  I think I live 2 miles or so from you.

  What dipswitch settings are you using on the control board? It sounds like your sahutter wire is not making contact.

i have everything set on off.  its weird because it only did it every once in a while wen i was messin with it.
