Well did not find a bear so stopped of and bought a new rifle. Tikka T3 Hunter in a 338 win mag and a Nikon Prostaff scope :IBCOOL:

Except for the price of ammo :yike: Thank god I reload. Just need brass.

Yeah ammo is way up there of the .338 win Im glad I reload.

I took it out yesterday to sight it in. It kicks but not to bad. Bore sighted it then put 4 rounds down it and ready to go. :IBCOOL:

Ive got a Tikka T3 lite and I put a limbsaver recoil pad on it and it cut the recoil in half.

What a man, shooting a BIG caliber Rifle like that.... I'm so jealous..

If you reload, I can help you out with an excellent load for that .338. You will find that it is the ultimate elk rifle, my brother and I sure love ours.
