Are you aloud to use a dog to look for a bear that has been shot and probably down that you can't find?

I don't think so, but I would do it with the dog on a leash and no guns. I don't see how that could be against the law. For all they know you're just taking the dog for a walk in the woods.

Well according the the WDFW walking your dog on a leash does not constitute hound hunting.

I would take the dog for a walk and maybe pack a high powered pistol just in case you run into trouble. ;)  :o  :rolleyes: Mark

You may want the side arm, just in case the shot wasn't as well placed as intended.  Your dog may find a pissed off bear otherwise.   :twocents:
