Title: North and Middle Fork Ahtanum
Post by: Bubba on August 08, 2009, 06:16:12 AM
Well this is where Camp Sidelock will be hunting this year for elk. We will be going there this month for a scouting trip. Looking at the map this is a big section of the Cowiche unit, has anyone hunted the section before and willing to give a little help on where to start?  Also any information (good or bad) about this area that might help would be great.   THANKS

Lots of people. Find elk, and plan on them being totally scattered by the second day. There are a ton of elk though.

It's been closed the last few weeks due to forest fires.  Check with the DNR before you make the trip over to do some scouting.
