well me and testar headed up this morning to one of my favorite spots but it was so foggy. couldnt see more than 50 yds. so we ended up checking out several spots down below the fog bank. looked at quite a few nice areas but nothing seen but a grouse hen and her clutch of 4 chicks. we did get some nice pics tho. gonna try another area down low tommorrow, lots of ripe berries but no activity seen.

Hmmmm,
Id say me and catwithboost had a similar experience... different area but same fog and no bears :bash:
All Ive seen in my spot in CF was one 100lb bear so we decided to head 2.5 hrs North and tried our luck...

I went this weekend. The cooler temps were sure nice. I took it real easy this weekend with the ticker acting up a bit. I ended up doing about 6 miles and called twice. I was way too high though, no berries and no bear sign. Saw a bunch of elk sign. It was such a great and relaxing weekend.

I see what y'alls problem is...you need to get some camo that looks less like leaves and sticks and more like fog.
Keep searching. You'll find em'. What mountain is that in the pictures?
