Title: New guy to the site
Post by: Pochards on December 08, 2007, 06:07:46 AM
Hey guys,

I am new to the site. I enjoy outdoor photography with ducks being my main target. I am always looking to learn new things and help out if I can.

It looks like a great site here! Here is a picture of a surf scoter I took the other day. Seaducks are my favorite target!

Amazing pictures.  Head out to Tatoosh Island some day when you get a chance.  There is some great opportunities for puffins etc.  You may need a boat though...

popeshawnpaul, Thanks for the tip. Where is Tatoosh Island? I am not familiar with that.

Thanks.

It's a small island off the tip of the washington coast.  You can get there by taking a boat out of Neah Bay...otherwise known as the armpit of Washington.  The seabirds there are unlike you will find anywhere else in WA that I have been...and I've been everywhere.  The lingcod and halibut aren't half bad either.

Looks like you are doing ok where you currently shoot though...  Good work.
