Title: over head riffle racks
Post by: littlebuf on August 11, 2009, 06:19:30 PM: anyone have experience with these racks? im thinking about putting one in my Toyota, i will probably need to mount it long ways for the guns to fit. any insight would be appreciated as im going to have to order it with out actually seeing it first (not in stock at cabelas)

Post by: jackelope on August 11, 2009, 09:51:56 PM: i don't have any personal experience with them but i had a customer when i worked at the chev dealership that had one and he had real good things to say about it. i can't put one in my truck because of the overhead console and dome light, but if i could i would.

i'm picturing a toyota pickup that i already don't have enough room in now with stuff hanging off the roof that i'm gonna hit my head on now.
my guess is the truck's too small for it to be comfortable.

Post by: whacker1 on August 12, 2009, 07:40:03 AM: littlebuf - aren't you too tall for a overhead rack inside a toy? I would think you would hit your head on it based on your heighth. Me on the other hand - I think I could stack them a couple deep, and still not hit my head.
