soo my wife some how ended up with my python lock keys on her keychain a few weeks back. then the other day when i decided i wanted to put my camera back out and i wanted to use my lock my keys were no longer on her kew chain and she has no clue where they went.
so does anyone know if you can get duplicate keys made for a python cable lock from the manufacturer? or do i need to fork over cash to a lock smith and get one keyed and cut? i would hate to throw the lock away just because of the keys. any ideas ?

I'd call Master lock co. to see if they can send you a key according to the number that's on your lock. Dunno if you'd find a lock smith that would have that special key blank.

Well I talked to Master Lock and they said their keys for the Python Lock are non duplicatable. So you have to buy another one.

So where's your second key that comes with each lock?

with the first key? :chuckle:

I think your wife must be related to mine with the lost key thing going on.

exactly lol. i had just bought the lock last may and when i set out to put my camera up i accidentally grabbed my wifes keys to the truck. so while i was in the field putting the camera up i just went ahead and threw the python keys right on it. 2 weeks later i took the camera outta the woods and havent had the chance to put it up till recently. i can even remember seeing the keys on her keychain a month or so ago and when i went to take them off her key ring a week ago they were gone!!!! and of course she has absolutely no clue where they are!!!! luckily they werent lost while the camera was locked to a tree!!!!
