What do you guys think? decent pend oreille?
-
I would say he is a shooter.
-
Definitely a shooter! That would look good hanging on my wall.
-
What's the ? for. If that's not a shooter, then I've never seen one. What a nice buck.
-
He has got a lot of mass compared to most of the whitetails I seen, I would definitely pull the trigger on him, unless of course his papa shows up. ;)
-
Ive got his papa on my wall! :chuckle:
-
Too small to kill, let him grow :o JK, Opening day shooter right there :chuckle:
-
WELL I guess i have about two weeks to find out if he is the big papa or not.. just found the spot three days ago, its a long ways from my house, but thank god for trail cams.
-
Is that milk in the corner of his lip?? :chuckle:
awsome mass ;)
-
YES ITS A SHOOTER!
Better HURRY wack him before Wolves growing large and ate them all in Pend-orillee area. Cuz there is few already hang out there Ate some MOOSE Steak! :yike: I would suggest u try BOW first day open!
I only been up there three times long time ago. Nice Buck u got.

WHACK HIM. looking forward to seeing pics.
-
Let him rub that crap off of his head gear then let the air out of em!
-
give him a few more years ;)
-
You had better do something about that deer before he starts to breed elk...
-
Awsome buck!  :archer:
-
Really??? you have to ask??? :dunno:
-
oh i will be in the stand for him sept 1st..... on his current pattern things arent looking good for him.. :hello:
-
couple more angles of him
-
That is a shooter buck in any state. great buck
-
:yike:
Thats a dead buck in my book. Don't see too many 6 x 6's, Nice
-
Bow - yes. Rifle - yes. Pick-up - pass. I'd let you have my sister for the REAL GPS coordinates (gotta warn you though, when we took her to the zoo all the monkeys stopped whacking off).
-
He's got great mass but, he is a little on the thin side, hell, I'd stick him anyway!!
-
No brainer right there :twocents:
-
That is one beautiful buck!
-
Jesus!!! What a monster, hope to see a pic of him laying on the ground on the 2nd!!
-
your a :sas:
:chuckle:
-
Imagine what he would look like next year? I will tell you what he would look like just as he is now..because he would be on my wall. :chuckle: Nice main beams, nice mass, overall nice. Can't shoot the big ones if you shoot the small ones. Of course the definition of small and big are different to different hunters. Nice buck..165 inches my guess.

thats a strong WT there brother! nice!
Id hang my multiseason tag on him day one of archery ;)
-
I hope you have a multi season tag
-
he will disappear as soon as he starts to shed :chuckle: giving you a hard time, I bet that made your decision on what side your elk hunting lol
-
Can't believe you have to ask. Damn nice deer
-
I hope you have a multi season tag
no need for multi season, I HAve no desire to shoot him with a rifle. I'll get him the first week of sept before elk season, if not, late season when he's hot after some does
-
im with shane, i think i see milk on his lips...
-
I'd shoot him in a heartbeat Matt. Hope to get out and do some hunting with you and Chris this year.
-
I hope that he's not further than 20 yards from your stand......I've seen you shoot. :P Good luck stud.
-
He sure is a poser. Very nice buck Mark

HAHA, thanks buddy, i will keep that in mind.
I do have a stand hung about 25 yards from there, but may en up taking him with a alternet method at another ambush point a couple hundred yards from there...
-

-
damn nice buck! definitely put him down for an eternal nap.
-

apples will pull any buck in a area to a cam, over any feed
-
Great buck. I wish I was a little closer to the whitetail hunting.
-
Just wanted to let you all know he is still comeing in during daylight hours... 10 more days?
-
Great find Matt! Hope you can put your tag on him.
-
i will say bigger than 150, the mass is a little decieving in the tine length and adds up quick in 8 h measurements ;)

very nice good luck in harvesting that guy this year, definite wall hanger there for sure
-
I almost have him talked into passing on him this year, just think of the possibilites next year could be 180, only thing this buck is lacking is tine length. ;)

If you don't connect in early archery, I will guard him during late buck, and run off any other hunters who try to kill him.

Well, to be honest it was probably close to the 20th spot i have baited this year, i started jumping baits and cameras all over the place starting back in june. I have gotten pictures of alot of decent bucks, but just kept moveing spots until i found this guy, and to be honest, im still baiting new spots every week. Its probably mostly luck that i found him, but the more spots i try to bait the better my odds get.. this spot is a real honey hole... i probably have pictures of 6 diffrent bucks in that same spot that would make P&Y..
-
Alwine, Whats your favorite bait you use and what cams are you using? Thanks

My main staples would be corn and sweet fead. The funny thing is some places they prefer sweet fead and some corn.. this buck deff likes plain corn more then sweet fead.
-
Is sweet fead or feed have the molasses in it?

I don't post here any more, but I heard about your buck. Just had to say congrats.
I've got pics of one that could be this guys twin except he has two small points coming off his bases. Several other deer with very similar genetics.
Just had to say congrats....
