Got two different friends that have been absolutely slaying the Silvers at Buoy 10. Plus when they head out throwing out a crab pot and having to throw everything under 7.5 back in with completely full pots for the special treat to add to the Salmon. Lots of Natives to search through, they hooked and brought to the boat over 30 fish each before getting legal hatch fish.. They ran out of bait (Herring) and had to utilize Coho Killers to keep from having triples and quad on at the same. all at 1 hour before and after slack tide.... Now that is good fishing even in my eyes.... :chuckle: :chuckle: Very few fish in the river "YET" according to them but in the salt, wow. Now the plus side they have been hitting Kings in the River, washington side between Church hole and Shipwreck, cut herring trolling. The Silvers again according to them, (which they have fished there for twenty five years) should hit the river real freaking soon. Then game on for sure. I am heading also this Sat for some potential explosive fishing for Salmon first till we get our limits of Silver and a King, then off to the C&R for some Sturgeon for the fun of it...

Fished the CR and limited out in three hours with with three on board, three days in a row. I also got a free ride on a charter and we boated 34 keepers in 5 hours. mostly silvers the big boys hit the river with the last rain. seals and whales everywhere, no sharks. Tuna are still 54 miles out I heard. Tuna price down to 1.49 lb. Enjoy, you won't need luck if your fishing.

Friends fished it this weekend and had 8 silvers on the boat in two passes, so it sounds like it is hot.
