is this deer old or young? he has a pot belly and big body, but little head and gnarly bases on horns. cant decide... :dunno:
-
Deep chest, pot belly, thick at the bases, I'd call him 5 1/2+
-

Nice looking deer. I'd say 4 1/2+ Love the knarly bases

LOL Too damn funny that deer at MAX is 3, the neck is tiny, his eye to nose measurement is all u need to see, all mature whitetails will have at least 7" measurement. also antlers show nothing of a regressing buck, no width or short tines or mass that come typical with old regressing bucks, the front shoulders and brisket are all signs of a young buck. I am guessing just well fed :chuckle:

I agree shane. when i first saw him the gnarly bases made me think he was old, but once i look at his body and face, i relized he is prob 2 1/2.. i cant wait to see him in 3 years though

:twocents:Let that deer walk two more years and he will be a monster. 2 to 3 years old tops.
