Maybe it's just me, but the reg's seem vauge and confusing. I only see one small blurb about squirrel's on page 53 under protected wildlife.
I have a few questions, hopefully some of you guys can help me understand the regs better.
-Digging around a little, it looks like the Eastern gray squirrel is the only one we could potentially hunt? Is this true? Or are there others that are legal to hunt?
-Is there a seson for them? If so, when does it start/end? Bag/possesion limit?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Here's all the species in the state: http://wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/diversty/soc/wgraysquirrels/
Here's the ones that are protected: http://apps.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=232-12-011
As for seasons and limits, I wasn't able to dig anything up.

Looks like those are the only two squirrels huntable in Washington...

It looks like the California ground squirrel (Grey digger) is also legal to hunt.
