Title: Samish River
Post by: Fishhunt223 on August 20, 2009, 11:59:19 AM
Can anyone give me any insight into fishing the Samish River?  Im not asking for anyones secret holes but a general area of the river would be helpfull.  Do you wade or fish from shore?  Gear or Fly?  When do the fish show up?  Why cant you use a stationary prestentation?  Any other thoughts would be helpfull.
Thanks

i use yarn and shrimp oil. works for me with a simple rig, steal head type rig with about a 1/8 oz egg sinker and just bounce it. and any hole on thatr rive is good if you catrch it at the right time. that being said the better places are the deep little narrow sections. look for a couple feet of water, as narrow as you can find and hit them at negative low tides. you should slay emm
