Good to see a nice fish, Oregon side or Washington side? What were you guys utilizing for Silvers?  I am heading Sat for fun and I don't do Ocean either...  Reason I want to sell my boat and get an ocean boat.

Nice king!  I'm headed there on Saturday.  My concern is the possibility of 15+ knot winds and swell to 9 feet at the mouth.

Cut plugs= I have never been on the ocean but Monday we fished buoy ten and I was watching 20plus ft boats disappear in the swells :o Guess I dont get seasick. The URB was caught about mid river> Mark

Another reason why you won't see me at the mouth...

Saturday coastal forecast looks a little barfy for me, bet the bar will be messy,  guys all be careful!

Sat
N wind 10 to 15 kt with gusts to 20 kt. Wind waves 3 ft. NW swell 6 ft at 11 seconds... building to 8 ft in the afternoon. Patchy fog in the morning.

I'm gonna wait until Sunday for it to flatten out a bit.  I don't mind it rough if I'm alone but I am taking my kids.  The bridge is only a couple of miles from the mouth and will be just as lumpy.  I like to enjoy my fishing time and not spend it worrying about my crew, boat and mailny the other tards who don't know how to navigate in rough weather.
