Post by: rudedawg1085 on August 20, 2009, 06:14:57 PM
I spent all day scouting the West side of the mashel unit and coudent find an access road to get in for the upcoming ML elk season. Some time this week ill eventually drive past Carbonado and see if there are any access roads from the East side of the unit, but before i do i thought id ask if there are any roads on the east side to get in at all? Anyone know?

The Mashel unit has no elk. You are much better off hunting Republic for elk.

I'm not sure about access although I do know there isn't a lot, but you need to know it is not the "Marshel" unit, it is the Mashel unit. It is pronounced like the name "Michelle" or at least very close to that. Just thought you might want to know so that in case you are talking to somebody about it they will know what the heck you are saying!
