Had several nice bulls on the cams monday and some had the velvet hanging, but this one has some on the top of the antlers. Also some old scars from a few years back on it's rump. Had horses that got cut and sometimes white hair would grow replace the natural colored hair after healing. Sure looks like another bull got him when he was younger.

I figured about 25% of the bulls I seen last sunday had rubbed. I expect it to it to be much better this weekend.

Good bull! Is it a west or east side bull?

nice pic...love me some rosies!

Interesting about the injury on his rear right leg. It looks like it has affected the growth of his left antler (just like it "should")

Pathfinder, no problem with the left antler from this old scaring. Just only had time to put on one photo. Here's a couple of the others.
Went in to pull my cams this sunday and saw 5 larger bulls and several nice herds of cows. Heck of a climb tho. Glad I went in Sunday and not today, which was even hotter.
Looks like Weco is going to leave the area closed, saw new signs of closed to access on every gate on the 4200 to the 4500. Weco wouldn't do that unless they planned on keeping everything closed for early bow hunt.

Oh, I see the other point now. Looks like he took a couple of tines in the rump when he was a youngster though... I think there's a lesson there.... :chuckle:
