Title: Authentic German Food
Post by: Austrian Hunter on August 22, 2009, 12:46:08 PM
I have a friend who makes a living of cooking German food and mailing it to her clients.  If anyone is interested send me a PM.  She cooks Speatzle (German Egg Noodles), Gulasch (Spicy beef stew), Schnitzel (Breaded Pork) and the best is Cordon Blue (Schnitzel stuffed with Black Forest Ham and Swiss Cheese) and allot more only need to ask.

Yep, nothing beats Schnitzel and Spatzel which have been banging
around in the back of a US postal truck for a week.  :puke:

:chuckle: Sorry Austrian Hunter, couldn't resist. I am hoping she overnight ships with some dry ice or similar...

Tell us more about it.  Is she in Germany or here?  I love schnitzel and Spätzle... along with a good Bavarian Hefeweizen of course!

Honestly I thought the same thing until she send me Speatzle and Gulasch, she overnight everything, the food arrived frozen in a Styrofoam box with frozen jell packets, it was perfect.

When I was stationed in Germany they had the gut trucks rolling around. These gut trucks carried "Steakwich". Whatever spices they used for that meal was mighty good. MMMMM. Have never had a steakwich since I left Germany.

She is in WA but born and raised in Germany.  I used to run her German restaurant in Lakewood WA, until she sold it.  She was kind of a mother figure to me when I arrrived here in the US.

I had some of your awesome beef last night, man you were right you can defiantly tell the difference.

Thanks again :IBCOOL:

I mostly cook my own anyway, I still think she has a great idea, she lives around Ft.Lewis and McCord so she allready has allot of costumers in that area.
