I'm still laughing about this, here we are the owner of a nice 21' boat, fairly new and have had no luck from it in nearly two years, the last year we had no kicker so didn't get out. I finally had to get it done from shore. Shot out to MA11 with some new boots and some hardware, about an hour into it, cast to a rolling fish, about 30' out boils right behind my lure, twitch, twitch, then about 20' in front of me BAM, water explodes. After a real nice acrobatic fight, I work it into the shallows, (WTH!!??%^&). Not what I was expecting, a wild steelhead about 24-25" long. Pretty as can be, had to watch her swim away, but wrapped up a nice day on the Sound. Had 3-4 other good bumps, sow lot's of jumpers.
