Title: Today in Ellensburg 4 pm - Elk Calling Seminar
Post by: flyguide on August 23, 2009, 01:25:22 PM: At 4 pm today in Ellensburg, the Kittitas County Field and Stream Club is sponsoring on an elk calling seminar put on by Joel Turner, 2008 RMEF World Champ. It is at the Hal Holmes Center and it is free to the public, first 150 people can get in. There will also be some heads and sheds to gawk at and should be a good show.

I was thinking a few local guys might see this in the next couple hours and swing by down there.

Was it good? I saw Joel Turner on video - awesome caller and actually explains things rather than just tries to sell the calls. Probably one of the best, or the, best job of explaining what he was trying to accomplish that I've seen on video.
