Congrats!  I was there today and could only hook up with native coho, no kings!  Came home empty handed but did have a few hook ups.

Thats kinda what i thought it was from the pic and ive been looking into getting one and i would want to set it up with a pump... 45 you said ive never seen one of those... is it a factory jet and how does it perform with that amount of power?

--Ya merc makes a 45 pump, well its 45 at the pump. You would not want to go any less then 45 and the 65 is to big so the 45 is just the right motor for the boat and the 6 kicker fits perfect. When the Chehalis gets some water in it and if you wanta go for a test run let me know, Well go sling some spinners for coho.

Kris-- Actually being where I got this king I think it was headed to the net pens in youngs bay, those fish are real short and fat, rogue river strain. The meat was brighter red then all the silvers.

--The first real rain that brings the river up and the fish will really load up, anytime we get a good rain in september, early october and the fishing gets good.
