I don't have a boat. I have a float tube, waders and fins and I'm wanting to get out goose hunting this fall. Does anyone have any experience out that way that wouldn't mind sharing a little knowledge? PM me if you'd like.

on willapa bay try just hunting the tide lands. you really just need waders and watch the tides.

I've hunted it before in small duck boats. The mud down there is very deep and dangerous, up to 40 feet in places. I would not go out there without a boat and would not get out of it when the tide is out. That muck looks solid when the surface drys out but is only skin deep. There are posted warnings about this at the boat ramp.

I would use a aqua pod or marsh rat if you want to hunt the reeds. Done very well on the geese down there. Lots of birds with jewlery.
