Any dogs hitting the ground, When is that coyote hunting contest out in the othello area.

Last year it was in the beginning of March if I remember. Like the first or second. Sharpen up your coyote skills if you plan on entering it costs either fifty a team or fifty each I cant remember, the winners killed 17 yotes last year, second place came in with 15. I think they gave out like $250 for the biggest male/female though. I wish I would of taken a pic of the pile of dogs that were in the airplane hanger, it was huge. I dont think I'll enter this year. There were over seventy teams that had entered. They have a descent gig to keep guys from cheating, but its not failsafe.

It was fun but there are way too many guys who know how to slay the dogs out there. I don't think I will enter again either. As far as the date, watch for it in the nickel, they usually start running it a few weeks out.

I gave three the snow nap yesterday while heading to our deer hunting area.....talked to my pards, they saw 31 in the last two days. I thought I was doing good at 13.
