Title: Elk/Muleys in Misery
Post by: BluesHunter on August 26, 2009, 11:24:15 AM
Anyone been up high in the Blues around Misery, Wickiup or the Devil's Tailbone.  Couldn't get out to scout this year.  Going in with a stick & string on the 11th.  Thx

My guess is "not".  Don't like the area guys?  Hunted here for over 40 years with reasonable success.  Can't eat antlers and you have to keep swatting the Muleys out of the way.

blueshunter...don't take this the wrong way but my guess as to what they're talking about is this.

your 1st post ever to the site says something like this translated:
hi guys. i haven't done any scouting and was wondering if anybody that has scouted area X could give me any of the information they have worked hard to learn so if/when i go out on 9/11 to bowhunt, i would know if i have a legit chance at sticking a deer.

Are you sure they're Muleys? I got a picture of one that sure looks like it's part whitetail.  :yike:

Sorry guys it was not my intention to ask you to work for me.  I've been lurking for a long time and finally decided to sign up and post.  I apologize for the error in style.  I'm just out of a body cast from a bad car accident so making it to the high country was out of the question.  Rehab is complete and now that the season is just around the corner my time is spent making sure I'm cutting paper properly with my Martin.  I may not drop off the Tailbone this year but I'll haunt the ridges.  Again I apologize for any error in etiquette.
