Shot on opening weekend by my buddy Bryce (on right) good shot 338 yards just not very big 225 probably.
-
That a good shot! Congrats to your friend.
-
Nice bear
-
Congrats on the bear! Nice shooting @ 338 yards too! 8)
-
Nice bear! Congrats to your buddy!!!
-
Nice color...grats to him.
My first bear was about the same size...
they called me "Cub scout" back at camp.
Of course, I was the only one to get a bear that year. :chuckle:
-
Congrats, but with those ears that bear will have a hard time making 135 pounds. Not trying to demean or anything, but there is no way that is a 225 bear. :twocents: Nice shot!
-
I say its 100 pounds :chuckle:
shoot him right off the tit at 338 yard er what?? making a pillow case? :chuckle:
still cool that you guys got one enit.......

Seriously, any bear is a good bear, congrats.

-
Any Bear is a good Bear! Nice job guys!
-
Wow!!!
-
Congrats!!!
-
Anyone missing a Dog!!! LOL
-
Congrats but that looks like the size of my dog. Might want to wait until it leaves its mom next time. :chuckle:
-
Sorry, but that bear doesn't look like it would make 100 pounds. :twocents:
-
glad ya knocked one down....should be good eating.
-
Definitely not 225, but that's nothing to worry about! Bears can be really hard to judge. Last year one of my buddies shot one about that size and it was the best eating bear we got all season. Don't worry about it, just try to get a bigger one next time! Keep on hunting!
-
Glad you got a bear!
-
Bobcat?
-
Would make a sweet foot rest! I've always wanted to do that
-
You guys kill me, :chuckle:
Great job getting one.

:yeah:
My buddy shot one last year that was 6' 1" and weighed 240. That one barely reaches across a tail gate which is 4' roughly correct ?? :dunno:
But any bear down is awesome! Good job. Go get another!
-
Very nice color, and like said any bear on the ground is a great accomplishment. So congrats and enjoy it and yes it should be some real good eats right there
-
You should make a toilet paper holder out of it.. :P!!
Good bear tho.. :IBCOOL:
-
Shoot another one that size and you'll have matching slippers :chuckle:
Well at least you went out and got one, congrats
-
Drop-tine....congrats on a successful hunt. I can tell by the smile on the faces of the hunters that they had a great time. The most important thing is the quality of the experience, not the size of the game. I think some guys get too wrapped up in the trophy hunting mentality and forget that not all hunts are trophy hunts.
It is fun to trophy hunt, but that is not what all hunting is about at all.
Congrats again on what appears to be a fun and sucessful hunt.
 :brew:

damn??
ok...has droptine been picking on people to draw fire???
listen bro...bear down = good job!!
-
Wow, everyone hacking the guy saying he shot a small bear and giving him chit. I will agree it is not a 225lb bear, but congratulations for killing a fawn and calf killer is what he deserves. God job on getting a very nice hided bear!
-
hey nice bear, dont matter what size it is . your doing better than most of us here lol. remember everyone its not what u get, its how many times u get to go.
-
nice job! i just got one too
-
Anyone missing a Dog!!! LOL
A 225 pound dog?
