I have a .280 woodsmaster that I havnt shot in awhile. Took it out of the safe cause I was thinking about using it this year for dear.
The action is "frozen" shut. I have taken the trigger assembly out and the action will still not budge. Have the foreend off and roll pin for gas chamber out. But in order to take completly apart I need to be able to pull action back. :dunno:
Any suggestions?? Or a local gunsmith near woodinville??

I have a woodsmaster and have heard that you'll have a hard time getting 'smiths to work on them because they have issues with them. i can't confirm this, just what i heard. i actually have 2 of them.

This link is to Wisner's gun repair shop down in Centrailia. Although it's a long ways from Woodinville; link should open a helpful essay on problems and solutions on wetside Washington Remington Woodmaster.
